1. Introduction
At Loadsense Ltd., we are committed to delivering premium-quality weighing systems designed for reliability, durability, and precision. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide warranty support for our Loadsense-developed Truck and Trailer Scale and related weighing products. This document also covers the warranty policy for our other weighing products which also include but not limited to, VEI weighing products and Tractor and Forklift Scales. This document is intended to give you peace of mind and to ensure transparency in the event that your product requires service or replacement.
2. Warranty Coverage
2.1 Products Covered:
This warranty applies to the following products sold by Loadsense Ltd.:
- Loadsense Truck and Trailer Scale Systems
- Loadsense Load Cells and Sensors
- VEI Weighing Products
- Tractor and Forklift Weighing Systems
- Digital Display Units and Control Modules
- Associated Wiring and Communication Components
2.2 Warranty Period:
All Loadsense weighing products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of:
12 months from the original date of purchase.
3. What is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Faults under normal operating conditions.
- Labour and parts required to repair or replace defective components under warranty.
4. What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, vandalism, or improper installation.
- Damage due to overloading, excessive vibration, power surges, or water ingress unless the product is specified as waterproof.
- Routine maintenance, calibration, or consumable parts (e.g., fuses, batteries).
- Modification, tampering, or repair by unauthorised personnel.
- Damage from incorrect use of the product outside the intended design or manufacturer specifications.
5. Warranty Claims Procedure
To make a warranty claim:

- Provide the product serial number, original proof of purchase, and a detailed description of the issue.
- If required, ship the product to the address provided by our support team. All shipping costs to Loadsense are the responsibility of the customer.
- After inspection, if the product is deemed to be covered under warranty, Loadsense Ltd. will repair or replace the item at no charge and return it to you.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loadsense Ltd. shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Australian and New Zealand Consumer Law
This warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude or limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and any other relevant consumer protection laws.
8. Extended Warranty Option
