Everything Loadsense Safety Solutions offer

Five families of onboard safety products that work on their own or together, so you can build the right level of protection on every vehicle and machine. Jump straight to a solution below, or use the Solutions menu at the top.

01 · Blind Spot Detection

BLIS Blind Spot Radar for Trucks

BLIS combines two side BSIS radars with a front MOIS radar to detect cyclists and pedestrians in the blind spots around heavy vehicles, giving the driver an information signal and, when a collision becomes likely, a clear warning. Engineered to UN R151 and UN R159 for vehicle categories M2, M3, N2 and N3.

Side and front coverage

  • BSIS: two side radars give up to 180 degrees of side blind-spot coverage along the vehicle.
  • MOIS: a front radar protects the high-risk moment of moving off from rest.
  • Detects moving and stationary vulnerable road users, day or night.
  • Ties into the indicators for turn-aware collision warnings.

02 · Reversing Radar

Reversing Radar & All-in-One Radar Camera

Radar detects people and stationary objects directly behind the vehicle and warns the operator with sound and on-screen alerts, even when they are not looking at the monitor. Choose radar on its own, or an all-in-one unit that combines radar and a camera.

03 · Cameras & Displays

HD Reversing Cameras & Heavy-Duty Displays

High-definition cameras give the operator a clear view behind and around the vehicle, day or night, paired with rugged monitors that take multiple camera inputs.

04 · Reversing Alarms

Broadband Reversing Alarms

Broadband reversing alarm (LSRAV02)
LSRAV02

Directional white-sound alarms are easy to locate and dissipate quickly, so machinery can work longer hours with far less noise nuisance than conventional tonal alarms.

  • Broadband "ssh-ssh" sound that workers can pinpoint instantly
  • Fixed and self-adjusting models, 72 to 107 dB
  • Conforms to SAE J994, CE and e-marked, NZTA approved
  • Solid-state and epoxy-sealed, guaranteed waterproof to IP68
05 · Safety Lights

LED Blue Line Rear Safety Light

LSB-LED

Projects a bright blue warning line on the ground behind the vehicle, giving pedestrians and other operators a clear keep-clear zone before the vehicle moves.

  • High-output 9 W OSRAM LED, around 700 lumen
  • 10 to 60 V DC, wide operating temperature range
  • Waterproof to IP67 with die-cast aluminium housing

FAQ

Vehicle safety solutions, common questions

What safety products does Loadsense offer for fleet vehicles?
A complete onboard range for fleet vehicles, road trucks, trailers and wheel loaders: blind spot radar (BLIS), reversing radar, all-in-one radar and camera units, HD reversing cameras, heavy-duty monitors, broadband reversing alarms and LED safety lights.
What is BLIS blind spot radar?
BLIS is a 77GHz blind spot radar for trucks. It combines side BSIS radars (up to 180 degrees of side coverage) with a front MOIS radar to detect cyclists and pedestrians in the blind spots around heavy vehicles, in line with UN R151 and UN R159.
What is the difference between a reversing radar and a reversing camera?
A camera gives the operator a clear view behind the vehicle, including at night. A radar detects people and objects in the blind zone and warns with sound and on-screen alerts even when the operator is not looking at the screen. Together they cover both seeing and sensing.
Are the reversing alarms NZTA approved?
Yes. The broadband reversing alarm is NZTA approved, conforms to SAE J994 and is guaranteed waterproof to IP68. Its directional white-sound design alerts people behind the vehicle while reducing noise nuisance.
Do these systems suit wheel loaders and heavy machinery?
Yes. The range is built for commercial, industrial and heavy machinery, including wheel loaders. The radar, cameras, displays, alarms and lights are rugged, sealed and rated for harsh worksite conditions.
Do the cameras and radar work at night and in dust or rain?
Yes. The cameras use Sony sensors with day and night vision, and the radar uses millimetre-wave technology unaffected by darkness, dust, rain or glare. Components are waterproof and built for road and off-road use.
Can Loadsense supply safety systems across NZ and Australia?
Yes. Loadsense supplies and supports onboard safety systems across New Zealand and Australia, and can recommend the right combination of radar, cameras, alarms and lights for your vehicles and worksite.
